July 2nd, Saturday:

Downtown Ball Ground - Annual fireworks celebration begins at 9:45 pm.


July 3rd, Sunday:

City of Kennesaw  -Salute to America  

Live music performances and family entertainment from 6-10 pm. From The Blast Band’s high-energy party tunes to the sounds of Tusk, the ultimate Fleetwood Mac tribute band, event will have two stages of live music, festive street entertainment, food vendors, and kid’s activities. The evening will end with a fireworks finale beginning at 9:30pm. Free admission. Blankets, chairs and coolers are allowed. Concert begins at 7:30pm at The Depot, 2828 Cherokee Street, Kennesaw. In the event of inclement weather, the fireworks will be rescheduled for Saturday, July 9.

 

July 4th, Monday: 

Annual Woodstock 5K Freedom Run   

Race begins at 7:15 am. Now in its 20th year.

 

Stars and Strikes July 4th Spectacular – Woodstock

The parade kicks off the celebration at 10 am. The parade starts and ends at Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Road. It travels up Main Street to Towne Lake Parkway, Mill Street, Market Street, Fowler Street, Main Street , and then back to the school.

After the parade, join us in The Park at City Center (downtown Woodstock) until 3pm for food, live music in the gazebo, children’s games, cake walk, arts and crafts, and vendors of all types. Fireworks begin at dusk behind the Target Shopping Center at Hwy 92 and I-575.

July 4th at Gibbs Gardens

Celebrate the Fourth of July at Gibbs Gardens with live music–classical strolling musicians including flutes, violins and harp, surrounded by summer blooms. Crape myrtles, daylilies, waterlilies and masses of brilliant annuals and perennials. The abundance of water and shady paths throughout the Gardens offer an oasis for visitors from the heat and sun. The Gardens are open on July 4th from 9 am to 5 pm, with classical music from 12:30 to 3:30 pm.

 

Concert and Fireworks – Acworth

Sponsored by the City of Acworth and the Acworth Business Association. Live music will start at 4 pm. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 pm. Food vendors will be on site. Free admission and free shuttle service available from downtown Acworth. Located at Lake Acworth Beach at Cauble Park, 4425 Beach Street, Acworth.

 

City of Canton 4th of July Celebration

The celebration begins with a parade through downtown, sponsored by the American Legion. The parade begins at 6 p.m.  The fireworks show will then be held at Riverstone with music and dancing. Fireworks begin at dusk.

 

Wills Park – July 4th 8 pm

1825 Old Milton Parkway, Alpharetta. Event will include entertainment and children’s activities on the lawn behind the Alpharetta Community Center from 6-9 pm. Food vendors will be located throughout the park from 6-10 pm. Fireworks begin at dusk.
